The ‘Elixirs of Nature’ Launch Event zephyrs Beauty and Fun






My relationship and love with The Body Shop started when I was just a kid and one of my cousins gifted me some Body Shop products. I, instantly fell in love with the products due to their enchanted aroma and later on when my skin responded great after using them.  So the relationship began that is becoming more strong with the every new product launch. The Body Shop ‘Elixirs of Nature’ Launch further strengthens the trust that I always have in The Body Shop products.


Inspired the world as a source of beauty, The Body Shop has launched an enchanting collection of immersive eau de perfumes enthused by some of the planet’s most exquisite natural scents  by using a non-destructive technology called ‘Headspace technology’. The delicate perfumes are made with the essence of each botanical, reinvented without harm, allowing them to live on, just as wild as nature planned them to be.

The new line was launched at EmporiumMall Lahore with a beautiful ambiance and enchanting setting that is beautifully designed by meticulous Constantine PR. The Body Shop administration and famed beauty influencers from Lahore attended the ceremony. Above all, The Body Shop Pakistan introduced their Brand Ambassador, Maya Ali who is a rising TV Star with huge fan following. It garnered high fan excitement at the retail outlet.




   



Five rare and precious fragrances were introduced and tested as well. The ‘Elixirs of Nature’ range is the ultimate botanical mash up that blend perfectly with natural essences and extracts. The names given to them seem quite different as they are the botanical names of the flowers. NIGRITELLA from THE ALPS - SWITZERLAND, KAHAIA from BORA BORA - POLYNESIA, SWIETENIA from BANGALORE- INDIA, BOWHANTI from FRENCH GUIANA – AMAZONIA and WIDDRINGTONIA from WESTERN CAPE - SOUTH AFRICA were introduced.

Maya Ali not only introduced the perfumes but also highlighted the nature friendly and ethical connotations of the brand whom she is the brand ambassador from now onwards. The event was dubbed as par international standards by the participants with all the great set up with not to forget the delicious food. Maya Ali also stood behind the counter and the attendees bought from her as well. The events was special because it is the launch of a Pulse Store as well which is one of its kind to cater the individual needs of the customers. All the guests were presented with goody bags with lovely ‘The Body Shop’ products. Of course the products I got are much of my liking specially the bottle of KAHAIA, my favourite from the new range. I am very excited to use all the products and share the reviews on tayyabazworld.wordpress.com soon. It was an event worth remembering not only because of the product value but also because of the beauty and charm it exudes. I can definitely call it “The Event” of 2016.

Stage Line Brand Reveal








Stage Line Professional has launched their HD STICK in a much hyped and anticipated event at Nishat Hotel, Lahore. I was very excited for the event as trying and testing new beauty products really make me happy and joyous.   Stage Line Professional, a sister brand of Keune, is one of the most exceptional and high-value cosmetic brands in the world. That’s why I was looking forward to attend the event enthusiastically. Their products are created from treated pigments with active ingredients to benefit the skin. As I am very conscious about using cosmetics that are not harmful for skin, the products which claim as skin friendly are indeed something that I always sought after. Another feature that always attracts my attention is the pigmentation of the products and it is claimed that Stateline products are highly pigmented. This event gave me a real opportunity to not only try and test the products but also experience the claim myself.





I was on time at the event and to my surprise it was all set. Guests and media influencers were pouring in and being welcomed warmly by Transmedia and Beauty Hooked representatives. Red carpet was blazing with the gorgeous guests. I got my seat and a beautiful box with the coveted HD STICK was in front of me as it was at every seat with brochures that gave us the complete information of Stage line beauty products.  Stageline Beauty Products were available for testing and bloggers took full advantage of it. They tried, tested and loved StageLine products. Specifically, Stage Line’s face primers, shimmer roll-ons, and their X-Fix Liquid Lipsticks are among the favourites.

HD PAINT STICK
 Beauty reveal ceremony was held and live application of the much talked about HD Paint stick was done.  Ace beautician Nina G shared the tips to get the maximum effect with this amazing product. I myself tried the stick and my first expression was that it is very much appropriate for our skin tones plus it does not give a made-up effect. I ‘ll hopefully write a detailed review of HD PAINT STICK soon to give all my readers a detailed information of the product.







Another thing that is worth remembered about the event is the presence of great company and scrumptious food. It was indeed an evening well spent and worth remembering.

Indonesian Consul General discusses trade with LADIESFUND women entrepreneurs


Business is the new language among nations. Without active business ties, no country is considered friend of the other country. Its the business that gives new meanings to relations world wide. That,s why every country tries to attract foreign investment and strengthen their business ties with different countries who are otherwise at loggerhead at different political issues. Women all over the world are playing an active role as entrepreneurs and businesswomen and contributing in the progress of their respective countries.   

In this regard,Indonesian Consul General to Karachi Hadi Santoso hosted a trade discussion with dynamic women entrepreneurs and professionals of the LADIESFUND network. Held at the Indonesian Consulate, the interactive discussion included presentations by Oktorian Hakim, Vice Consul for Economic Affairs of the Indonesian Consulate, as well as Shamoon Zaki, Chairman of the  Pakistan Indonesia Business Forum.  Examples were given of successful interactions, but also challenges discussed such as that, according to Mr. Santoso, Pakistan has not yet held a Trade Exhibition in Jakarta, although the Indonesian Consulate has held one in Karachi.  


"We welcome interactions such as these and want to strengthen trade relations between our countries," stated Mr. Santoso.

"This meeting is the continuation of our long-standing relationship with the Indonesians to build trade opportunities for women entrepreneurs in our two countries.  In the past, LADIESFUND has partnered with the Indonesian Consulate to bringIndrijati Inawangsih Bachitiar to be a keynote speaker at our annual LADIESFUND Entrepreneurship Conference (LEC) as well as a delegation of Indonesian women entrepreneurs to attend our trainings. We have also partnered twice for cultural dance performances at our events. Now, our focus is to put together a LADIESFUND trade exhibition to be held in Jakarta,” stated Tara Uzra Dawood, President, LADIESFUND.

LADIESFUND members introduced themselves one by one and spoke about their specific trade vision for their brands. Attendees at the event included KPMG Partner Moneeza Butt, Varah Musavvir (Firefly), Nazli Abid (Bells n Bells), Fouzia Tariq (consulant), Jehanara Khan (Strategic Solutions) and Sadaf Kazmi (Wrappings and More).

In addition to discussing trade opportunities, Butt offered to seconder KPMG employees to Indonesia as well as to engage her firm’s tax specialists to help with specific audit needs that may arise from trade. LADIESFUND also offered to organize multi-brand booths for Indonesian trade opportunities and requested the Consulate to keep the organization abreast should franchise opportunities become available.

Depilex makes a more beautiful you

Recently I got the chance to have a natural facial from Depilex DHA branch. My facial was due and how could I miss this opportunity coordinated by my buddy Fakhra Khan and provided by Depilex DHA Branch. Due to my stringent schedule, it is always difficult for me to avail such opportunities. But I am really thankful to the organizers who cooperated their utmost and after several changes in time slot, they catered me according to my availability. 

The first thing that I noticed was the cleanliness and serenity when I stepped into the salon. From the very onset, I felt relaxed as to the surprise of many I prefer the calmness when I chose any salon to have my regular services. I need a place where I can relax and away from the humdrum of everyday routine. Then the courteous staff welcomed me and asked for my opted service and handed me over to a polite lady named Alvina. The facial area is upstairs and Alvina guided me to the room where I had to ward off all my tiredness and going to feel energetic again. I felt satisfied when I entered the room as room was very clean and Alvina seemed to be taking care all that is needed for the proper hygiene.  










As a nature freak, natural facial proved the best choice for me for rejuvenation. The mesmerizing smell of the products and soft message lull me a bit sleepy. I was feeling fresh and elated when I was being treated specially with rose-water. The enchanting smell was enough to ensure me that original products were being used. After the cleansing and massaging of face and posterior, mask was applied. After 15+ minutes, it was rinsed. Now I was ready to see myself in the mirror. Wow it was great when I looked at the mirror. All the tiredness was vanished away and I was introduced to a ‘new me’ that was fresh and glowing. Here I want to mention one thing that I used to have Thalgo anti-stress facial but the natural facial proved to be more effective.

Step into Fall with Shafaq Habib’s New Collection

Eminent jewellery designer Shafaq Habib showcased her new collection here earlier today, which was attended by the city’s socialites and members of print and social media. Her latest collection exuded class and luxury and the designs were greatly appreciated by the guests.
Speaking about the inspiration behind this collection, Shafaq Habib said “I went to Hyderabad, India a few years back and visited an exclusive exhibition featuring the Nizam of Hyderabad’s collection. The amazing jewellery left a great impact on me and I have come up with a few inspired pieces with a contemporary touch.”
Habib’s jewellery collection showcases her unique blend of South Asian aesthetics utilizing distinct designs inspired by her travels. Statement pieces in this collection included long strands of pearls and polki diamonds, emeralds, rubies and other unique assortment of pearls crafted in traditional jhumkas, chandbalas and magars with a modern twist. The polki diamond chokers, tikas and jhoomers are all inspired by the great Nizam's collection. Hyderabadi guluband, kiran phool and sat lara with mesh filigree are some of the other standout pieces in the latest collection.

HUM Masala celebrates ten years of love and laughter

South Asia’s first and Pakistan’s only 24-hour food channel HUM Masala celebrated its 10th anniversary on 22nd September, 2016 in Karachi. The occasion was celebrated with oomph with a live transmission from 9 am to 7 pm, and was graced by prominent personalities and crème de la crème of Pakistan’s entertainment industry including Ahsan Khan, Javed Sheikh, Sarwat Gillani, Shahzad Roy, Wardha Saleem, Nilofer Shahid, Adnan Siddiqui, Amir and Huma Adnan, Anwar Maqsood, Nadia Hussain, Naveen Waqar, Vaneeza Ahmed, Saud, Rambo, Sunita Marshall, Hasan Ahmed and many others. HUM Masala's widespread following once again became obvious, with live callers becoming taking immense interest in the show and congratulating HUM Masala on its 10th successful years on air.

Celebrated ex-Pakistan cricketer and sultan of swing Wasim Akram along with his beautiful wife Shaniera Akram, also joined in to be a part of the grand 10th anniversary celebrations. Shaniera Akram took part in a cooking competition with CEO HUM Network, Duraid Qureshi. Apart from Shaniera Akram, Javed Sheikh, Amir and Huma Adnan, Rambo and Saud also took the cooking challenge.
