Step into Fall with Shafaq Habib’s New Collection

Eminent jewellery designer Shafaq Habib showcased her new collection here earlier today, which was attended by the city’s socialites and members of print and social media. Her latest collection exuded class and luxury and the designs were greatly appreciated by the guests.
Speaking about the inspiration behind this collection, Shafaq Habib said “I went to Hyderabad, India a few years back and visited an exclusive exhibition featuring the Nizam of Hyderabad’s collection. The amazing jewellery left a great impact on me and I have come up with a few inspired pieces with a contemporary touch.”
Habib’s jewellery collection showcases her unique blend of South Asian aesthetics utilizing distinct designs inspired by her travels. Statement pieces in this collection included long strands of pearls and polki diamonds, emeralds, rubies and other unique assortment of pearls crafted in traditional jhumkas, chandbalas and magars with a modern twist. The polki diamond chokers, tikas and jhoomers are all inspired by the great Nizam's collection. Hyderabadi guluband, kiran phool and sat lara with mesh filigree are some of the other standout pieces in the latest collection.

HUM Masala celebrates ten years of love and laughter

South Asia’s first and Pakistan’s only 24-hour food channel HUM Masala celebrated its 10th anniversary on 22nd September, 2016 in Karachi. The occasion was celebrated with oomph with a live transmission from 9 am to 7 pm, and was graced by prominent personalities and crème de la crème of Pakistan’s entertainment industry including Ahsan Khan, Javed Sheikh, Sarwat Gillani, Shahzad Roy, Wardha Saleem, Nilofer Shahid, Adnan Siddiqui, Amir and Huma Adnan, Anwar Maqsood, Nadia Hussain, Naveen Waqar, Vaneeza Ahmed, Saud, Rambo, Sunita Marshall, Hasan Ahmed and many others. HUM Masala's widespread following once again became obvious, with live callers becoming taking immense interest in the show and congratulating HUM Masala on its 10th successful years on air.

Celebrated ex-Pakistan cricketer and sultan of swing Wasim Akram along with his beautiful wife Shaniera Akram, also joined in to be a part of the grand 10th anniversary celebrations. Shaniera Akram took part in a cooking competition with CEO HUM Network, Duraid Qureshi. Apart from Shaniera Akram, Javed Sheikh, Amir and Huma Adnan, Rambo and Saud also took the cooking challenge. The event culminated with President HUM Network Sultana Siddiqui cutting the 250 lbs cake prepared by Imran Wasti, with the HUM Masala crew.

This anniversary marks yet another milestone achieved by the HUM Masala team, in the face of other cooking channels that had opened up after HUM Masala, and who later on shut down their transmissions. The credit goes to HUM Network, under the management of which the channel has maintained its quality of cooking shows aired since its inception 10 years ago. As the pioneer 24-hour cooking channel in Pakistan, Masala has set high standards for its current and future competitors.

EMI PAKISTAN RELEASES FILM TRIBUTE TO MADAM NOOR JEHAN ON HER BIRTHDAY Film to Premiere in Lahore on 23rd September, 2016

EMI Pakistan Ltd, Pakistan’s premier record label since 1948, held an exclusive Premiere of Gul-e-Daudi (The Chrysanthemum): In Tribute to Noor Jehan - a short film by acclaimed director Umar Riaz.
The 15 minute long short film, a fictional story based on the music of Madam Noor Jehan which has been selected from EMI’s archives, was premiered in Lahore at the Luxus Grand Cinema on Friday, the 23rd of September 2016.
The Red carpet was attended by people from media fraternity and friends and family of the director himself. Amongst the people present at the Red Carpet were Adeel Hashmi with his wife, Nescafe Basement Sensation Mehak Ali, Jimmy Khan, Zaibunnisa Bangash, Meena Malik Hussain, Dr Farid A Malik, RJ Fatima Atta, Qasim Jafferi and Bloggers.
The evening took place on Madam Noor Jehan’s birthday on 23rd September, with Opening speech by Mr Zeeshan Chaudary (General Manager EMI Pakistan) and following the screening, Panel discussion was held with the filmmaker and select cast on the life and work of Madam Noor Jehan. Panel discussion was moderated by Qasim Jafferi and Panlists included Umar Riaz (Director), Umar Adil (Biographer of Madam Noorjehan) Zaibunnisa Bangash  (Artist) Usman Latif and Ismet Jawed.  The PR and Media Management was done by Transmedia Digital Solutions.

Pakistan’s First Ever Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience Comes To Lahore.

Real Madrid Foundation [RMF], an institutional arm of the world renowned and prestigious Spanish football club Real Madrid, will be holding their first ever football camp, Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience in Lahore in December 2016. At a press conference held at Pearl Continental Hotel, the Foundation’s Director Joaquin Sagues announced that registrations for the camp are now open across Lahore.
The five-day football camp of the Real Madrid Foundation will be taking place at the Model Town Football Academy from 27th December’16 till 31st December’16, for which Real Madrid Foundation trainers and coaches will be traveling to Pakistan from Spain.
Speaking about why the foundation has chosen to hold a camp in Pakistan, Real Madrid Foundation Director, Mr. Joaquin Sagues said, “We are very proud to be able to bring Real Madrid Values closer to all Pakistani children. We are convinced that this first edition of Campus Experience in Lahore will be a roaring success.”

Over the past five years, the Real Madrid Foundation has held football camps across over four continents through which they have engaged more than 30,000 children.
Through the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience, the foundation aims to provide children between the ages of 7 to 17 an opportunity to learn the game of football and the values inherent in sport. These values serve as an educational tool, capable of contributing to the comprehensive development of the youth who practice it. In addition, the foundation’s aim is to promote the coexistence and the individual and social development, as well as the values associated with Real Madrid.
The official host and rights holder of the Foundation Real Madrid Campus Experience in Pakistan is QSports, a Qatar-based sports management firm, which has successfully organized the camp in Qatar in 2014 and 2015. The official event management companies for the camp are Checkmate Consultancy and Green Peak International.

Speaking about the expectations QSports has from the upcoming camp to be held in Lahore, as well as future plans, CEO Mr. Adil Ahmed said “We hope that the campus will bring a much needed boost to promote football in Pakistan. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young footballers to learn the values of Real Madrid, one of the greatest football clubs in the world. This is just a first step and our aim is to host the campus in other cities across Pakistan as well and bring many more programs to Pakistan offered by the Real Madrid Foundation”.

Sharing their experience of the organizing phase of the camp and the response from Lahoris so far, Green Peak International’s Chairman Mr Salman Butt said “GPI's vision is to promote sports through development of grass-root and premier events. After the successful completion of the PSL, we are extremely excited in working with Qsports and Checkmate to launch the FRM Campus Experience, and will work together to further develop this over the next 3 years! We are confident that such quality initiatives will augment the development of football in Pakistan at the grass-root level as well as domestic and national levels. InshAllah”.

Hina Shah “Face of the Brand” Reveal

Hina Shah of Hina Shah Makeup Lounge held an exclusive brand re-launch shoot at her salon. The face Reveal and Behind the Scenes shoot was done in collaboration with the pioneers of Beauty Marketing in Pakistan, Beauty Hooked.
The Face behind Hina Shah Launch was done with the gorgeous Model Sana Sarfaraz. The idea behind the shoot was to relaunch Hina Shah, and showcase her versatile and unique makeup artistry fit for every occasion from Get Togethers to a bridal.
The shoot was held at Hina Shah Makeup Lounge in a small exclusive event with people from the media fraternity. The relaunch Concept, Execution and Organization was done by Beauty Hooked , with PR handled by their PR partners Transmedia Digital Solutions.
