Whosoever said that music is the food of soul was very right in his/her observation. music fades away the stress and makes us energize again. Amidst such a stressful and busy life, such musical evenings are a breather indeed. One such evening was arranged by Transmedia Digital Solutions last week. The Nescafe Basement Season 4 sensation and Kameez Teri Kali Fame Star singer Mehak Ali did her first ever live unplugged performance in an exclusive event in Lahore held at The Fagiro Club.
The club was beautifully decorated with LCDs presenting lovely songs sang by Mehak Ali. The singer herself was there to entertain the audience. She sang few of her popular songs and some of the celebrated legends such as Madam Noor Jahan, Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Ata Ullah Essa Khelavi. The madam Noor Jahan's song was so aptly sung by Mehak Ali that reminded all of us the legendary singer and music lovers in Pakistan know that how it is difficult to sing a song of Madam Noor Jahan. Anyone who has learned the craft can sing her songs.
The guests were entertained with steaming hot food to enjoy winters and especially the fish finger was just yum. The Fagiro Club is another addition in the best food spots of Lahore and we will definitely enjoy more such events there in coming days.
The Event was exclusive and was attended by people from media fraternity including bloggers socialiites and friends and fans of Mehak Ali. Some of the media personlities that graced the occasion with their presence were Asrar Band, Yasmeen Butt, Faizan Ranjha, Aisha Eesha etc. The event was organized by Glorious Productions and PR by Transmedia Digital Solutions.
The idea of the event was to bring the Nescafe Basement fame singer into limelight and get people listen to her melodious voice. The event was also part of the celebration of Mehak Ali’s latest song release Ishq. Bloggers and media personalilities also got a chance to interact with the singer and ask her about her future plans.
It was all in all an enjoyable event where I not only got the chance to meet my fellows but also enjoy some live music after a long day's work.
